Our Capital Fundraising Campaign Launch Party at Capitello Wines on December 11, 2019 was a great success! We had over 100 birth center supporters in attendance and raised $3,000 for Our Community Birth Center! Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered and donated to make this event a success! Our Community Birth Center held our first Board of Directors meeting in Eugene, Oregon on October 29, 2019. We had 100% attendance from our nine Board of Directors members and five Stewardship Council members for our first meeting. Board Officers were elected, Bylaws were adopted, and we appointed AlexAnn Westlake, CNM as our Founding Executive Director. This meeting was a huge step forward in our plan to restore birth center services to Lane County!
