Our Community Birth Center Board of Directors Adopts Non-Discrimination Policy:

It is the policy of Our Community Birth Center (OCBC) not to discriminate on the basis of disability, race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, language, ethnicity, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, veteran’s status, or any other protected class. This policy applies to all OCBC programs and operations, including but not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all of our board, staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, and vendors.

The Executive Director will oversee activities to ensure compliance with this policy.

Our Community Birth Center will provide auxiliary aids and services and language assistance services in a timely manner upon request and free of charge.

Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination on the basis of any protected class may file a grievance with the Board of Directors or the Executive Director. It is against the law for Our Community Birth Center to retaliate against anyone who files a grievance or cooperates in the investigation of a grievance.
